º Textile & Apparel Industrialization Expert
º Fashion Value Chain Development Specialist
º Textile, Apparel & Fashion (TAF) Entrepreneur

My mission is to make textile and apparel a pathway to prosperity in Nigeria (and West Africa) by strengthening regional value and supply chains.

HOW I CHAMPION MY MISSION

My experience spans the public and private sectors. Through my work, I address value chain gaps and demonstrate how functional local & regional textile & apparel value chains create jobs, reduce import dependency, and promote exports.

SPECIAL ADVISER, COTTON, TEXTILES, AND GARMENTS (CTG)

FEDERAL MINISTRY OF INDUSTRY, TRADE & INVESTMENT (FMITI)

I serve as the Special Adviser to the Hon. Minister of State for Industry: As the CTG adviser, I coordinate sector policy development and bridge the gap between government and private sector stakeholders to ensure effective implementation.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR/CHIEF COMMERCIAL OFFICER (CCO)

ONCHEK

I co-own a textile and apparel manufacturing company: We produce and sell affordable, high-quality cotton apparel using a 100% regional supply chain.

CO-FOUNDER/PARTNER

CAFET

I co-founded a fashion value-chain development practice: We provide services and tools designed to help African fashion industry players create, extract, and retain value.

CONVENER/PATRON

UFORO

I established a fashion-focused NGO: We provide skill development, entrepreneurship, and digital literacy training for female fashion business owners in my home community.

HOW MY EFFORTS COME TOGETHER

CAFET provides tools and knowledge for value-chain growth, ONCHEK develops supply and value chains to scale, and UFORO makes skills and infrastructure accessible to marginalized demographics. At the FMITI, we shape national strategies that enable industry-wide growth and sustainability. Together, these efforts transform Africa’s textile, apparel, and fashion industry into a global powerhouse, creating prosperity both at home and abroad.
